  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional, for extra heat)

Instructions

Prepare the Snack Mix:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cheese crackers, pretzels, nuts, cereal squares, and sesame sticks (if using). Toss to mix evenly.

Prepare the Seasoning:

  1. Melt the Butter: In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix it with olive oil.
  2. Add the Spices: Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, chili powder, black pepper, salt, and hot sauce (if using). Mix well until fully combined.

Coat and Bake:

  1. Coat the Snack Mix: Pour the seasoning mixture over the dry ingredients. Toss well to ensure even coating.
  2. Spread on Baking Sheet: Evenly spread the seasoned snack mix onto the prepared baking sheet.
